HR & Payroll Advisor
Salary: Β£35,000 to Β£40,000
Location: Luton, relocating to Milton Keynes in January

Hours: Monday to Thursday β 8.30 β 5.00 pm and Friday 8.30 -4.00 pm

We are recruiting for a HR and Payroll Advisor to join a growing and supportive business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in HR who is looking for a varied role covering the full employee lifecycle.
You will work closely with the People team and play an integral part in the day to day HR function, with responsibility across payroll, HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee development and reporting.
A key part of this role will be payroll . The business currently works with an outsourced payroll provider, with plans to bring the payroll function in house in the future. You will therefore need previous payroll experience, a good understanding of P11Ds, tax and National Insurance, and most importantly, enjoy working with numbers and data.
What will you be doing?
Your responsibilities will include:
β’ Supporting and coordinating the payroll process, with the opportunity to take greater ownership as payroll moves in house
β’ Producing and reviewing HR data and reports
β’ Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
β’ Ensuring employee documentation and compliance records are accurate and up to date
β’ Supporting recruitment, including interviewing and candidate management
β’ Managing onboarding and inductions for new employees
β’ Supporting training and development activities
β’ Coordinating appraisals and performance reviews
β’ Supporting employees throughout the full employee lifecycle
β’ Assisting with employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management
