About The Role

We are looking for a Stores Person to join our team at our Duxford depot. This role is essential to the smooth running of our warehouse operation, ensuring parts are received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining excellent stock control and customer service. Working closely with internal departments, suppliers and customers, you’ll help ensure the right parts are available at the right time to support our service operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, efficient work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring stock is managed safely, accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries, book stock into the system, and ensure all items are stored correctly and can be easily located when required.
  • Pick, pack and dispatch parts for both internal departments and external customers, helping to ensure service and customer requirements are met on time.
  • Support stock control activities, including regular stock checks and reconciliations, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean and organised warehouse environment, following company procedures and health and safety standards at all times.

About You

You’ll be a dependable and motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a positive approach to teamwork. You will be comfortable working in a warehouse or logistics environment and understand the importance of accuracy when handling parts, stock and customer orders.

To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Have:

  • Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics or service-based environment.
  • Strong numerical and data accuracy skills.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive working relationships.
  • An understanding of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.

Desirable:

  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Forklift Truck Licence.

Working Hours

Monday to Wednesday: 09:00 - 17:30
Thursday: 09:30 - 17:30
Friday: 09:30 - 17:00
