Our client is a well-established Automotive Garage; they provide fault finding, service, maintenance and repair of cars, vans and light vehicles for their customers to MOT standard. Due to an ever-expanding customer base, they now have the need for a mechanic/technician in the Coatbridge area. Our client provides the full service, maintenance and MOT testing services of all automotive vehicles for their customers throughout central Scotland, this role requires applicants to fault find, service, MOT and repair their customer’s cars and vans in the workshop.
The Role:
This is a workshop role where you will be involved in the service and repair of a variety of vehicles. Our clients’ customers are mostly the public but also to some business customers. You will be working on vehicles that have combustion engines, petrol and diesel.
The Person:
The ideal candidate will have automotive experience in diesel and petrol engines, possibly some exposure to pneumatics, hydraulics and be from a service, MOT and repair background. Experience working on cars or vans is essential. Applicants should be able to drive, both for testing the vehicles and to commute to work.
You will receive a package based on a £30-40k basic salary and OT, Pension, and 28 days holiday.
