Tool & Plant Hire Fitter/Engineer Our client has grown to be the Scotland’s largest supplier of small tools and general plant into the Construction industry. This growth has seen the company turnover increase and their ability to service clients far beyond their expectations. With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted our client is now looking to expand and develop their operations in the East of Scotland area with the recruitment of a Plant Fitters for their site in Edinburgh. The Role This is a fundamental role in the company’s business strategy and requires individuals of an ambitious nature. Applicants will be mostly workshop and may have a little site based if required and will be involved in both repair and service work for a variety of small to medium sized general plant. Applicants will be working on small hand tools through to small dumpers and excavators. The role involves the general upkeep and maintenance of the equipment as well as the repair of broken or damaged products that are returned to the depot, some customers may require on site repair of the equipment and company vehicles will be made available. The Applicant Suitable applicants must be able to show strong technical experience of the above products and be looking for a challenging new role. Fitting/Service/Repair experience is a requirement to this role, applicants should have technical fitting of general plant and have the knowledge of general plant hire products. The ideal applicants would be based on patch in the Edinburgh area of Scotland. Basic Salary £25-35k + Full company benefits & company vehicle.
