Fitters Engineers Mechanics

Our client is Scotland’s largest supplier of small tools and general plant to the construction industry. The company supports training and personal development and is expanding its operations in the Perth area of Scotland with the recruitment of a Tool Plant Fitter.

The Role

This role is fundamental to the company’s business strategy and requires ambitious individuals. The position involves both workshop and site work and includes repair and service for a range of small to medium tools and plant. Work ranges from small tools to small dumpers and small plant. Responsibilities include general upkeep and maintenance of equipment and repairing broken or damaged items returned to the depot. Some on-site repair work may be required, and company vehicles will be provided to conduct the work.

The Applicant

  • Strong technical experience with the relevant products, or solid mechanical petrol/diesel experience.
  • Fitting/Service/Repair experience is required; technical fitting of general tools, plant, petrol or diesel equipment is preferred.
  • Based in or near Perth to support the local area.

Benefits
