Our client services, maintains and repairs small plant, forestry plant, horticultural plant, ground care and garden equipment in the Perthshire area. Their growth has seen the company turnover increase and demand for their services continually grow through their ability to service clients far beyond their expectations. With continued support for training with a guarantee that personal development will be encouraged and promoted, our client is now looking to build upon and develop their operations in the Perthshire area of Scotland with the recruitment of two Fitters/mechanics/engineers.

The Role

These roles are fundamental in the company’s business development and require individuals of an ambitious nature. Applicants will be both workshop and some site-based local area work and will be involved in both repair and service work for a variety of small to medium sized plant and equipment. Applicants will be working on small machines, engines, petrol, diesel, mowers, ATV’s, through to small dumpers and small plant. The role involves the general upkeep and maintenance of the equipment as well as the repair of broken or damaged products that come into the workshop or on site in the local area. Some customers may require on-site repair of the equipment and company vehicles will be made available to conduct the work.

The Applicant

Suitable applicants must be able to show strong technical experience of the above products or with good mechanical petrol/diesel experience and be looking for a challenging new role. Fitting/Service/Repair experience is a requirement for this role; applicants should have technical fitting of plant or petrol or diesel equipment. Applicants must have a driving license and it should be clear or next to clear of points. The ideal applicants would be based on patch in either around Aberfeldy or commutable to the local area to this site.

Basic Salary £30-38k (Neg) + Vehicle, Pension, Holidays + Full company benefits. Monday to Friday, 40hr working week.
