Our client, a major manufacturer of light side construction products into the UK and European markets, is looking to recruit an Engineering Manager within their Fife manufacturing site. The company is very passionate about producing the highest quality innovative products to the highest standards, using efficient and sustainable processing systems, and investing in the latest technology.
The Role
This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment within our client’s facility. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and bearings is required, and if possible, some electrical exposure to 3 phase electrical, motors, drives, and controls which would be found in most manufacturing machines. The role requires applicants who have reactive and proactive maintenance and repair experience as well as fault finding experience. These are industrial engineering types of roles and require applicants to work on an early, late, and night shift in rotation. Overtime will be available, and applicants who are happy to pick this up would be ideal.
The Person
Applicants will preferably have present or previous mechanical and basic electrical maintenance and repair experience. Applicants with fault finding experience would be ideal. Applicants should be suitably qualified within mechanical trade experience (time served or apprenticeship).
