SMS Mining Services is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Mobilisation Officer to coordinate the safe, timely mobilisation of our workforce across a range of mining operations. In this critical role, you will own the mobilisation process from post-onboarding through to site arrival – ensuring our crews are compliant, prepared and ready to go.
- Coordinate FIFO/DIDO mobilisations once candidates have been onboarded by the Recruitment team
- Manage site-specific requirements, including access, inductions, medicals and compliance
- Organise flights, accommodation and mobilisation schedules
- Liaise with site teams, clients and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless mobilisation
- Coordinate DAS and PEM bookings where required
- Maintain accurate mobilisation records and documentation
- Proactively troubleshoot mobilisation issues to minimise delays and keep projects on track
Sitting at the intersection of Recruitment and Site Operations, this role is pivotal to project success. Once candidates are fully onboarded, you take the lead in getting them site-ready – managing logistics, compliance and systems to ensure every mobilisation is efficient, seamless and on time.
