About the role

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our new High Wycombe workshop. You’ll be hands-on with a variety of heavy mining equipment including loaders, dozers, graders, drills and supporting equipment.

Your day-to-day will include rebuilds, diagnostics, fault finding, preventative maintenance and general repairs to ensure equipment is safe, reliable and ready to go. You’ll also work closely with apprentices, sharing your experience, mentoring on the tools and helping build strong future Mechanics.

This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality workmanship and is comfortable owning tasks from start to finish.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience working on CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr and Epiroc equipment
• A team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• High attention to detail and pride in your work
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate – Mobile Plant
• Current C-Class driver’s licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and LABDAS
• Current National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months)
