SMS Mining Services is seeking experienced Component Fitters to join our brand-new workshop facility in High Wycombe. Working in a modern, well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for the strip, inspection, diagnosis, rebuild and assembly of heavy mobile equipment components including:
- Drivetrains
- Transmissions
- Torque converters
- Wheel ends
- Pumps
Working across CAT, Komatsu and Hitachi equipment, you'll ensure all components are rebuilt to OEM standards while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality and workmanship. This is a workshop-based role offering structured hours, ongoing rebuild work and the opportunity to build a long-term career with a leading WA mining contractor.

About You
- Australian or New Zealand recognised Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Unlimited Australian working rights
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Experience rebuilding heavy mobile equipment components
- Exposure to drill rigs (Epiroc, CAT or similar) highly regarded
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Commitment to safety, quality and reliability
- A positive attitude and desire to build a long-term career
