We’re Hiring: Working Foreman/ Supervisor

Location: Hillington, Glasgow

Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Overtime Available

SMS Group is growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Working Foreman / Supervisor to join our Glasgow team. If you’re a time-served Fabricator/Welder with supervisory experience this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role within a busy marine fabrication environment.

The Role

  • Hands-on fabrication work
  • Supervising and leading a skilled workshop team
  • Supporting shipbuilding and marine engineering projects

You’ll play a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while driving productivity and safety on site.

What We’re Looking For

  • Time-served Fabricator/Welder (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Strong fabrication/welding & site experience
  • Proven leadership or supervisory capability
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Marine or shipbuilding experience (desirable)
  • Full Driving License
