We are seeking an experienced and driven Delivery Manager to join our growing team, overseeing the successful delivery of shiprepair, fabrication, mechanical fitting, and pipe fitting projects. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a strong marine or engineering background who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.
The Role
As Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for supervising teams, managing projects from quotation through to completion, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and monitor workforce activities across shiprepair, fabrication, mechanical fitting, and pipefitting operations
- Plan, cost, and deliver projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved
- Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Manage workforce allocation, performance, and development, supporting training and onboarding
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping across workshops, vessels, and operational sites
- Oversee maintenance and servicing of machinery, equipment, and pipework systems
- Monitor and control tools, equipment, and materials to prevent loss and ensure availability
- Support procurement processes to maintain efficient operations
- Produce reports on project progress, quality, and completion
- Act as a key point of contact for operational issues, including emergency or on-call shiprepair work
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in shiprepair, marine, mechanical, or civil engineering environments
- Strong knowledge of mechanical fitting and/or pipefitting
- Proven experience supervising teams and delivering engineering projects
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Excellent organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required
