What will I be doing?\\
\\
You’ll be out on the road, visiting a variety of client sites — from hospitals and schools to commercial and industrial settings — making sure their water systems are compliant, clean, and safe.\\
\\
Your day-to-day will include:\\
\\
- \\
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), sampling, flushing, disinfecting, and chemical treatment of water systems\\
- Performing remedial works, tank cleans, and chlorination\\
- Ensuring compliance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and other water hygiene regulations\\
- Recording and reporting site activities accurately using company systems\\
- Spotting and reporting system issues before they become bigger problems\\
- Representing SMS Environmental professionally with clients on-site\\

What do I need to be successful?\\
\\
We’re looking for someone who:\\
\\
- \\
- Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and colleagues\\
- Is willing to learn, take guidance, and build confidence working both independently and as part of a team\\
- Can manage their time well and follow instructions\\
- Holds a full UK driving licence (or is working towards one, if applicable)\\
- Is able to pass Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (Enhanced DBS check)\\
