We are seeking skilled Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in high-end residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems with the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Electrician will ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations. You will be expected to work mainly within the Surrey area, although some London and Home Counties work will be required. A full manual driving license is an essential requirement - a company van and fuel card are supplied for PAYE employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and instructions to ensure accurate installations.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and British Standards during all work activities.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.

Skills:

  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and safety protocols.
  • A knowledge of Lutron, Rako, Control 4 & Crestron beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Full UK Manual Driving licence (PAYE employee).
  • Own vehicle due to limited public transport to some site locations (Subcontractors).
  • C&G Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications.
  • NVQ Level 3 AM2 (optional).
  • Testing and Initial Verification - C&G2391 or similar.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
