It is a very important role, and we are looking for reliable and confident candidates who also have an eye for detail, to join our team in order to support our students through a stressful and important time in their lives. It is a role that can make a real difference.You will be working flexibly on a casual basis supporting the school to ensure that all exams are conducted in accordance with rigorous exam guidelines. There will be no fixed or regular hours of work, but successful candidates will be given as much notice as possible as to when they would be required. The bulk of the work will be in May and June. In addition, we are likely to be able to offer work during our mock exam periods in November, January, and April.Morning exam sessions usually start at 8am (for an exam start at 9am) and afternoon sessions at 12.30pm (for an exam start at 1.30pm). The length of an exam papers varies, and sessions can last between 1 and 4 hours. Please do not apply for this role if these times are not suitable.All successful applicants will receive in person training as well as a statutory online safeguarding training and an online invigilation training module which takes approximately 2 hours to complete. This training must be completed before the first session of invigilation.We are also seeking people from within the team who are willing to be trained as one-to-one readers and scribes for our students who have ‘exam access arrangements’.
