Role: Digital Print Operator

Responsible for producing high quality printed materials following printing job specifications within the agreed time allocated, setting up, operating, adjusting, and maintaining the equipment to ensure that it functions optimally. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to resolve any issues related to production in a timely manner. Working closely with internal teams to ensure materials are available for production while maintaining high standards of organisation and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department
  • Ensure that the work is prepared to the correct specification before commencing job QC to job requirements
  • Maintain and process work according to the production schedule
  • Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered
  • Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department
  • Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations
  • Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy
  • Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed)

We are looking for a reliable and organised dedicated Nozomi professional with a passion for print, a good appreciation of colour and attention to detail. You will bring:

  • Excellent technical print knowledge
  • Proven experience working on required equipment relevant to print processes
  • Good visual colour recognition and appreciation of colour gamut
  • Operatives must not be colour deficient
  • Knowledge of equipment and production operations
  • Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes

  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
