As an Account Manager you will drive the development and implementation of strategic PR plans for some of the UK’s most well known brands. You will serve as the primary point of contact, building and nurturing strong client relationships, understanding their goals, and delivering exceptional results.

The Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic PR plans to achieve KPIs
- Drive the PR programme for all clients as laid out in the agreed programme of activity with your account director
- Serve as the main liaison between clients and the agency, ensuring effective communication and understanding of client objectives
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify media opportunities, trends, and industry insights to achieve results
- Create compelling press releases, media pitches, and other written materials to the highest standard
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry professionals to secure media placements
- Monitor and analyse media coverage, providing impactful reports to clients that demonstrate value
- Plan and manage events such as workshops, photo calls, media and influencer events, and round-tables for clients
- Assist the senior team in supporting clients during crisis situations, including crisis communication planning and monitoring
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new media platforms, bringing fresh ideas to enhance client PR strategies
- Lead meetings with preparation and ensuring account directors/seniors are well briefed
- Motivate and guide the team of executives to provide excellent client service
- Promote our services and expand business with existing clients
- Work with the senior team on new business briefs and pitches
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Stay current with industry best practices to continually enhance PR strategies
Essential Experience
- Approximately 2–3 years’ experience working on big consumer brands or B2B clients within an agency
- Strong understanding of PR strategies, media relations, and digital PR practices
- Experience developing and implementing multi-channel campaigns across PR, social, and influencer marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content and deliver compelling presentations
- In-depth understanding of how media works in relevant areas, including journalist relationships
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects
- Knowledge of PR for SEO and ability to generate backlinks from coverage
- Proven experience developing rigorous evaluation metrics and client reports
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
- Strong interpersonal skills for building client, media, and team relationships
