We’re looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Data Migrations Specialist to join our UK team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the primary point of contact for new clients as they migrate their data to Smokeball. You’ll coordinate across teams, manage timelines, and ensure a smooth and seamless transition for each client. You’ll work closely with our onboarding and implementation specialists, technical analysts, and clients to deliver outstanding service and outcomes. Strong communication and the ability to bridge the gap between clients and internal teams are essential.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Onboarding and Implementation Specialists to ensure the client's needs are being met and the transition is as smooth as possible.
- Schedule and lead client meetings to set migration expectations, provide updates, and manage timelines.
- Project manage multiple migration clients with various deadlines, coordinating task completion to keep workflow on track.
- Update documentation and suggest process improvements on an ongoing basis.
About you:
- 2-3 years of prior technical customer service, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of database systems.
- Technically savvy with an ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
- Excellent and detailed communication skills with both external clients and internal team members.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively to deliver client outcomes and overcome obstacles.
- Ability to translate requests clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
