The role of the Supply and Allocation Executive is responsible for the supply management activities of publisher briefs and promotional activity, working in tandem with Publishers/distributors and business support teams. Develops and maintains the publisher requirements for sales, availability and unsolds, that provides excellent service for customers, and internal teams and stakeholders.
About the Role
- Supporting the Sales Centre Product Manager with projects and business changes that impact the commercial team.
- Managing the tasks and process of the Supply and Allocation Team.
- Ensuring we maximise retailer sales and availability for across all c22,000 retailers.
- Ensuring we maximise retailer sales and availability for new selling points and refits.
- Adherence to Seasonal camp openers and closures in collaboration with the Support Manager.
- Support Bank holiday countdown plans, including Christmas.
- Manage strong relationships with our key publisher contacts.
- Provide an excellent service to our operational colleagues in the magazine hub locations.
- Link in with the Publisher account teams to provide analysis of data and focused account development.
- Benchmarking No.1 for supply management performance.
- Deliver compliance to the agreed contractual KPI (key performance indicator targets).

- Experience within customer service/ administration/ coordination/ data management.
- Experience/working knowledge of MS office.
- Ability to use own initiative and show sound judgement.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships within the immediate and wider teams.
- Ability to work as a team to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Ability to plan and prioritise own work.
- Good attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting and processing of information.
