This role serves as the primary point of contact for both operations and Commercial teams for new business roll out and, once transitioned, for business-as-usual (BAU). The role plays a pivotal role in supporting the operations delivery of Service Excellence for our customers and will interact directly with customers as required. As a subject matter expert, this role is responsible for developing, designing, and managing effective operational strategies that enhance efficiency, service excellence, and customer satisfaction.
About the RoleLeading and managing the day-to-day performance of assigned portfolios, ensuring all KPIs (service delivery, cost, quality) are met and/or exceeded. Accountable for proactively identifying and resolving operational issues, minimising disruptions and ensuring compliance to agreed SLAs. Supporting cross functional collaboration including, Distribution Centres, Final Mile teams, planning teams, Finance and Commercial to drive operational efficiencies. Communication and presentation to the operations and Commercial teams, senior management, and other functional stakeholders. Ensure there is only one version of the truth in terms of performance and the data to support this.
Stakeholder CollaborationLeading engagement between Operational teams, Business Development Managers and Customer Service to ensure seamless execution of agreed SLAs.

Proven history in leading, managing and developing operational and portfolio management function. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to drive performance improvements. Excellent communication skills for influencing stakeholders across all levels. Problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities. Strong commercial acumen and financial insight awareness. Subject matter expert in operational processes, capacity planning, and compliance. Ability to design and develop structured reporting and performance frameworks. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams. Highly organised with effective time-management and prioritisation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
