Night Delivery Driver – Self Employed – Smiths News

You must be a freelance driver.

Must have own 3.500kg van.

Vehicle must be ULEZ compliant.

You drive between 50-100 miles and have between 10-25 drops per night.

Fixed delivery round given.

Training given.

Depending which round given working hours can be between 8pm and 5am.

Average 5 hours work a night.

5 days a week, Sunday to Thursday.

Paid weekly
Average weekly earnings of £600, with the potential to earn additional.

About the role:

We are currently looking for Self-employed drivers to join our outstanding distribution network supporting our customers working between the hours of 8pm and 5am.

Pre-planned routes across all shifts

  • As a self-employed driver you’ll be responsible for delivering newspapers to our customers across your designated routes.
  • You’ll work towards pack accuracy and cost targets, ensuring compliance with legislation, health and safety and security standards
  • Most importantly you’ll ensure every customer receives excellent and efficient service, every time.

What do you need?

  • A valid UK photo-card licence and able to drive a vehicle up to 3.5T.
  • Have access or own a van.
  • Vehicle must be ulez compliant.
  • A passion for driving and delivering excellent customer service.
  • A positive, can do attitude with strong time management.
