Smiths Equipment Hire Ltd are the Northwest's Largest Independent Equipment Hire company with 19 Hire It Centres located across the region. We supply all types of customers in all types of business, specialising in many types of equipment, including plant and machinery to the construction and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Washing of Equipment in preparation for hire
  • Assisting drivers and customers loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Warehouse organisation and security
  • Notifying manager of damaged, dirty or misused equipment
  • Delivering equipment to customers, completing necessary paperwork, securing loads etc when required
  • Learning other job roles in the depot to assist when necessary

Requirements:

  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
  • Digi Card is required for this role
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Experience in a customer facing and sales environment
  • Understanding of manual handling

Working hours: Monday to Friday (No Saturdays)
