Reporting to the Plant Manager, this critical role supports the manufacturing organization by coordinating the production workflow and scheduling Production Work Orders to meet on-time delivery and quality commitments. Fixed Term Contract, 12 months, based at Headquarters, Slough. 5:30 am – 2:00 pm (normal Monday‑Friday hours).
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands while optimising resource utilisation and minimizing costs.
- Execute standardised planning processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement, production and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Monitor production processes and update schedules to address issues and delays, communicating with the Customer Services Team.
- Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement actions in line with Production and S&OP to increase efficiency and output.
- Coordinate with inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Communicate production schedules, goals and deadlines to stakeholders.
- Evaluate production capacity and capability to support business growth objectives in alignment with the S&OP team.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in production planning and management.
- Act as liaison to the CST team, supporting commercial‑led meetings as required.
- Perform SAP data cleansing and accuracy focusing on lead‑time and planning parameters.
- Carry out other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the planning team.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree in manufacturing, production or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
