Job Description

To act as a digital catalyst for Turbomachinery Commercial operations by establishing a single thread of truth from enquiry to order, leveraging data and digital tools to optimise decision-making, enhance customer experience via automated cross departmental collaboration, and deliver improved commercial performance in Dry Gas Seals.

Commercial Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver timely, accurate quotations across all Dry Gas Seal product and service scopes.
  • Manage the full enquiry-to-order commercial process, including quotation, negotiation support, and order acceptance for assigned opportunities.
  • Ensure commercially robust pricing and margin protection, applying agreements and supporting pricing strategies.
  • Review and process purchase orders, ensuring alignment with quoted scope, pricing, and contractual terms.
  • Partner with Sales to develop opportunities, leveraging installed base knowledge and customer insights.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the local commercial manager.

Digital & Data Responsibilities

  • Lead data governance and quality improvement initiatives for Turbomachinery Commercial datasets.
  • Design and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting frameworks to enable real-time performance tracking.
  • Identify and implement automation and digitisation opportunities across commercial processes.
  • Translate data into actionable insights to support decision-making across Sales and Operations.
  • Continuously improve digital workflows in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Commercial Accountabilities

  • Own the end-to-end commercial delivery of enquiry-to-order activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
  • Partner with Sales to develop and convert opportunities, leveraging customer and installed base insights.
  • Act as a key commercial focal point, ensuring alignment between customer requirements, commercial terms and operational delivery.

Digital & Data Accountabilities

  • Lead digital process improvement initiatives across the Turbomachinery Commercial function.
  • Develop and implement KPI frameworks and dashboards to enable real-time performance management.
  • Act as the digital interface between Sales, Engineering and Operations, ensuring alignment of tools, systems and data flows.
  • Identify and deliver digital innovation opportunities that enhance efficiency, automation and decision-making.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Expertise in data analysis (Excel, Power BI) and translating insights into commercial value.
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems and digital workflows.
  • Process mapping and automation mindset.

Desirable:

  • Manufacturing or Engineering background.
  • Experience in data visualisation / dashboarding.
  • Exposure to digital transformation or continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Understanding of data governance and system integration.
