Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and drive global category strategies for CAPEX and selected indirect categories, in alignment with overall procurement and business objectives.
  • Manage sourcing activities related to technical equipment, machinery, and service contracts across multiple regions.
  • Take full end‑to‑end ownership of assigned categories, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, pricing, lead times, and performance management.
  • Drive cost optimization and value creation through strategic sourcing initiatives, standardization, and supplier consolidation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and project teams to support CAPEX projects and ensure alignment with technical and business requirements.
  • Identify and develop strategic supplier partnerships, including evaluation of new suppliers and technologies.
  • Monitor supplier markets, industry trends, and innovations in equipment and technical services.
  • Support global CAPEX planning and investment projects from a sourcing perspective.

Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, category management, or sourcing of technical equipment, services, or CAPEX‑related projects.
  • Experience with CAPEX categories is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage complex, cross‑functional and international projects.
  • Experience working with technical stakeholders (engineering, maintenance, operations) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
