We're looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to help improve and maintain security across our systems and platforms. You will work closely with the Head of Cybersecurity and take responsibility for setting up, running and improving security tools across endpoints, cloud environments, and core systems. This role is hands-on and involves both day-to-day operations and improving how we work.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Set up and manage endpoint security across Windows, macOS and Linux
  • Manage EDR/XDR tools and vulnerability scanning platforms
  • Support the move towards Zero Trust and identity-based security
  • Connect security tools into monitoring systems (SIEM)
  • Support incident response, including investigation and fixing issues
  • Improve system security in line with agreed standards
  • Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python or Bash
  • Support security in cloud environments
  • Keep documentation, processes and runbooks up to date

Qualifications

Proven mid-senior level experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations.

Must Have Experience

  • EDR/XDR tools
  • Vulnerability management
  • Supporting incident response

Technical Skills

  • Good understanding of endpoint and enterprise security
  • Understanding of Zero Trust and layered security approaches
  • Experience working with security tools and integrations
  • Ability to script and automate tasks (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
  • Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments.
