Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support a growing finance function during an exciting period of transformation.

The role will support financial reporting, analysis, budgeting and financial control activities, while helping to develop a newly established Group Reporting function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional seeking exposure to senior stakeholders, finance transformation and career development within a progressive finance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
  • Analyse financial performance and provide insight into trends and variances.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
  • Support month-end processes, reconciliations and financial controls.
  • Produce management information and KPI reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of Group Reporting processes.
  • Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Build effective relationships with finance and operational stakeholders.
  • Support the development of a new Group Reporting function.
  • Gain exposure to senior finance leadership.
  • Develop expertise in financial reporting, analysis and financial control.
  • Get involved in finance transformation and process improvement projects.
  • Build a strong platform for future progression into senior analyst, business partnering or management roles.

Qualifications

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified or studying.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a commercial finance role.
  • Experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Experience of financial reporting or financial control.
  • Exposure to group reporting, consolidation or finance transformation projects.
  • Experience with ERP or reporting systems.
  • Experience supporting financial consolidations, including reconciliations, validation and intercompany balance reviews.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements.
  • Experience using financial consolidation and reporting systems (e. g. Oracle EPBCS, FCCS or similar).
  • Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP or equivalent.
