What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain a clear view of our global service contract portfolio, tracking performance against business cases.
  • Lead initiatives to evolve and strengthen our contract management capabilities.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, and optimise pricing & renewals.
  • Monitor contract risk, performance, and compliance – ensuring effective governance is in place.
  • Develop and implement tools, templates, policies, and processes to standardise best practice.
  • Support and mentor regional contract specialists, sharing knowledge and building capability.
  • Lead contract performance reporting, business planning, and forecasting.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, and operational teams to support key commercial initiatives.
  • Contribute to the design of new service offerings and service level agreements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing and optimising high value (£m+) service contracts.
  • Track record of delivering revenue growth, margin improvement, and commercial performance.
  • Experience developing commercial or contract management frameworks, tools or processes.
  • Comfortable influencing and leading across a matrix organisation.
  • Background in engineered products, services, or B2B/B2G environments.
  • Experience working across international markets.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Expertise in pricing, negotiation, and contract development.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Understanding of contract law fundamentals.
  • Project/programme management and change management capability.
  • Risk identification and mitigation experience.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Formal contract law qualification.
  • Additional language skills, German or French.
