We have a fantastic opportunity for the role of an Aftermarket Strip and Inspect Technician reporting to the Gas Seal Service and Repair Manager. As an Aftermarket Strip and Inspect Technician, you will be evaluating and reporting on the condition of Dry Gas Seals that have been returned for overhauling and repair. You will be determining the scope of work required when assessing the product's condition. All activities are carried out in accordance with the required company quality/productivity standards whilst ensuring compliance with company HSE procedures.
The role is located at our headquarters within Slough site. Working Monday to Friday during normal office hours.
Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Inspect, evaluate and report on the condition of Dry Gas Seals in line with company quality/productivity standards whilst ensuring compliance with company HSE procedures.
- Create Inspection Reports utilizing MS Office packages and photo editing tools.
- Maintain databases and documentation utilizing SAP and visual factory applications.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities such as 5S audits and actions derived from the audits.
- Train technicians and apprentices when required.
- Participate in daily SPQCD meetings.
- Manage Storage Facilities.
