Are you an experienced Site Manager with a passion for delivering demolition projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards? We’re looking for an experienced Demolition Site Manager to take ownership of dynamic projects, from smaller works through to large-scale, technically challenging demolitions. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role, leading teams, managing risk, and ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and above expectations.
Responsibilities for the job role of Site Manager:
- Drive project and site success from mobilisation through to completion
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at all times
- Develop and implement method statements, risk assessments, and demolition plans
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, workforce, and plant operations
- Monitor progress and adapt plans to keep projects on track
- Conduct inspections, audits, and toolbox talks to uphold best practice
- Build strong relationships with clients, engineers, local authorities, and stakeholders
- Manage waste, recycling, and sustainable disposal practices
- Control budgets, resources, and procurement effectively
- Respond to challenges such as structural instability, hazardous materials, or restricted access
- Maintain accurate reporting, documentation, and compliance records
- Ensure all personnel are trained, competent, and properly certified for their roles
- Enforce a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe practices
- Collaborate with internal departments to support overall business success
