Smiths (Gloucester) Ltd is a family run business owned and run by the Smith family since 1982. Smiths has grown from a single owner-operated plant hire company to a multifaceted group with family values still firmly at the heart of each project undertaken. With depots in Avonmouth, Cardiff, Gloucester, Stonehouse and Tewkesbury we operate predominately across the South-West of England. We specialise in Construction, Waste Management, Plant Hire, Demolition and Transport operations.
We are looking for a Class 1 driver to join our Waste Transport driving team. You will be based out of our Gloucester depot and be required to transport a variety of materials across the country on modern well-maintained vehicles.

Responsibilities for the job role:
- Complete allocated work in a productive and timely manner
- Ensure that the haulage needs and requirements of our clients are met
- Adhere to road transport legislation at all times
- Fulfil company obligations
- Ensuring vehicle is kept clean and presentable
