Job Description

Smiths Detection is looking for a motivated graduate to join our team as a Sustainability Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive real change, grow your expertise, and make a meaningful impact in a business that operates on a worldwide scale.

What you’ll do

• Track ESG performance indicators and targets across the business.
• Support sustainability-related activities across departments like Operations, R&D, Facilities, and Procurement.
• Collect and verify ESG data for divisional reporting, contributing to internal and external reports.
• Assist in coordinating sustainability projects, monitoring progress, and sharing updates with stakeholders.
• Stay up to date on emerging ESG regulations and help prepare documentation for compliance.
• Engage with teams globally to promote sustainability awareness and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to promote sustainability awareness and best practices.

Qualifications

• A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
• A genuine passion for sustainability and ESG issues, with a desire to make an impact.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with confidence in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn.
• Stay informed on emerging ESG regulations and standards.
