We are looking for a Yard & Warehouse Operative/Relief HGV Driver to join us at Bathroom Distribution Group – Bolton! Bathroom Distribution Group is made up of Frontline and Smiths Briten, both being leading distributors of bathroom and plumbing products across the UK. Smiths Briten, based in Bolton, has over 40 years’ experience in the industry and is backed up by a team of customer service professionals who offer product and technical advice. We offer more than 15,000 products across small independent showrooms and large household names. These stockists are serviced via a fleet of over 48 vehicles, many of which are guaranteed a next day service. We rely on our Yard/Warehouse Operatives/Relief HGV Drivers to deliver products to our customers when they want them and where they want them!
Working at our depot, you’ll be part of a team where everyone is putting the effort in to offer brilliant customer service and to get the job done.
Responsibilities
- Providing a friendly, knowledgeable service to customers in the yard & warehouse
- Being vigilant about stock security and safety procedures
- Making occasional deliveries – in our class 2 vehicles
- Supporting with vehicle loading/unloading - helping the team get deliveries out on time
- Safely receiving and organising deliveries – keeping the yard tidy and secure
