As Senior Counsel for UKINOR and Canada, you will play a pivotal role at the heart of our business, partnering closely with senior leaders and functional teams to help drive confident, compliant and commercially sound decision making. This is a highly visible role offering breadth, autonomy and the opportunity to shape legal strategy across two key regions, while being part of a collaborative and forward thinking global legal team. The role is UK based with a hybrid working model.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will act as a trusted legal partner to leadership teams across UKINOR and Canada, supporting the business as it grows and evolves. Your day to day work will span commercial contracting, operational legal advice and strategic projects, with exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and subject areas. You will proactively manage legal risk and opportunity, supporting everything from contract negotiations and distribution models through to investigations, litigation support and promotional review. Alongside this, you will collaborate closely with global colleagues, contribute to legal training initiatives and support the continuous improvement of legal operations, ensuring the business is well supported, informed and empowered.
What will you need to be successful?
- Qualification as a Solicitor in England and Wales or another commonwealth jurisdiction, with at least 6 years post qualification experience
- Strong commercial and contract drafting experience, ideally within healthcare, pharma or medical devices
- The ability to work autonomously while building trusted relationships with senior leaders and cross functional teams
- A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
