Senior QMS Specialist role at Smith+Nephew. Based in Hull, you will be at the heart of quality operations, supporting key systems such as Management Review, Internal and External Audits, CAPA, Document Control and Indirect Training.

Responsibilities

  • Lead audit readiness and host external audits, ensuring the site meets global standards and regulations.
  • Act as the Quality Hold coordinator for the AWM franchise, collaborating with teams in Suzhou and Costa Rica.
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree in quality, science, engineering or business management, or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience in Quality Assurance within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards (9001, 13485), FDA QSR, EU MDR and global guidance documents
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex workloads and lead audits across multiple sites
