The Global Fleet Manager will lead the strategic coordination of regional fleet operations across all regions. Serving the Sales, Marketing, Logistics and Service & Repair functions, this role will establish a unified governance model, create supporting standardized processes, develop performance metrics, and deliver insights to optimize fleet size, service levels, and cost efficiency. The role will act as a central point of contact between local operations teams and global leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate and support regional fleet teams to ensure consistent global standards and best practices from NPI to EOL.
- Develop and implement a global fleet policy covering lifecycle management, service levels, and cost control.
- Design and maintain a KPI framework to monitor fleet size, utilisation, cost, and service performance and compliance.
- Provide regular reporting and dashboards to executive leadership on fleet health, cost and optimization opportunities.
- Partner with Sales, Supply Chain and Service & Repair to ensure cost‑effective and compliant fleet operations.
- Lead initiatives to reduce total cost of ownership and improve environmental impact.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
- Solid experience in fleet management, preferably in a regulated or healthcare‑related industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI development and reporting tools.
- Experience working with regional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Strategic thinking: ability to align fleet operations with broader business goals and long‑term planning.
- Data‑driven decision making: skilled in analysing complex datasets to derive insights and drive performance improvements.
- Cost & efficiency focus: deep understanding of cost drivers and ability to identify and implement savings opportunities.
- Communication & reporting: clear and concise communicator, capable of presenting complex data to senior stakeholders.
