Are you a driven, strategic thinker with a passion for building partnerships and accelerating growth?
We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be directly responsible for planning, directing and executing an industry-focused field sales strategy – with a specific focus on distribution and packaging testing services.
You will play a key role in driving profitable sales growth and managing client relationships. This is a client-facing role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
The person
The successful candidate will be a natural “hunter” with a sharp commercial instinct and the ability to navigate complex, fast-moving markets. You thrive in both technical and strategic environments and can lead others while still being hands-on.
You will have
- A proven track record of service sales with a concentrated focus in large consumer brands or FMCG industries. Ideally this experience will be in technical sales, selling testing or consultancy services
- Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
- The ability to thrive in both technical and commercially driven environments
You will also have a flexible approach to travel, with 60% of the role being client facing covering UK & Ireland.
