Smithers MSE Limited is Europeβs leading independent plastics and rubber specialist organisation, providing research, technology and information services for polymer related industries. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Analyst to join our Chemical Analysis team.
You will be responsible for conducting a wide range of analyses using analytical techniques including FTIR, TGA, UV-VIS spectrometry, GC-MS and GPC.
The successful candidates:
- Will be considered from a range of backgrounds and educated to a minimum of A level or equivalent in science based subjects and possess relevant industrial experience.
- A degree is desirable in a relevant subject.
- Must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to laboratory work, possess excellent communication and time management skills and be able to maintain a high standard of record keeping.
- An understanding of working within quality systems such as ISO17025 and cGMP would be advantageous.
