The role
Due to growth, we are seeking Test Engineer to join our Materials, Science and Engineering department, who wants to develop their skills and progress within a successful global business. We provide testing and consultative support for a range of clients in multiple industry sectors. Our technical support services are world leading and include failure diagnosis, design and process optimisation of polymer materials.
You will be responsible for:
- Liaising with senior testing team to understand test requirements and progress projects.
- Performing test programmes
- Assisting in the development of new test methods.
- Supporting the maintenance and efficient organisation of equipment resources.
The person
The ideal candidate will:
- Have demonstrated competence and knowledge in multiple polymer testing techniques
- Have experience or knowledge of stress and fatigue testing, mechanical properties testing, environmental exposure testing and accelerated aging.
- Be computer literate, demonstrating good competence in Excel, Word, Outlook, plus the ability to learn in-house systems.
- Have excellent communication skills
