COMPANY PROFILE
Progressive global €1bn (UK €100m) food business with a combination of brand and own-label products across a number of food categories. The business is much admired for having a highly positive investment-for-growth strategy, led by a dynamic and driven management leadership team who are looking to achieve further market growth.
As part of their growth strategy, they are now looking to attract a highly talented, commercially minded National Account Manager to manage a portfolio of high profile and growing retail multiple grocery customers, with the ability and ambition to further grow their future career up to SNAM level and beyond.
THE ROLE
Manage a portfolio of grocery and high street retail multiple accounts including brand and own label added-value food products within two dynamic food categories. You will have individual account P&L responsibility and take the commercial lead, while working cross-functionally with key stakeholders notably category, marketing, NPD, supply chain and finance teams.
The position is focused on driving further profitable sales growth through building effective, broad-based customer relationships, driving new product listings and distribution, and leading their creative NPD innovation activities towards successful implementation.
This balanced and growing £5m account portfolio offers an exciting platform for a bright and dynamic individual to achieve further success and demonstrate results that will be highly visible and rewarded. The sales team are led by a forward-thinking Commercial Director who will provide support and leading-edge coaching to help develop your skills and capability to achieve both your future business and career development objectives.
ABOUT YOU
You’re ambitious, driven, highly personable and are now looking to step up your FMCG commercial career into major grocery retail multiple accounts with full P&L responsibility.
You have developed your FMCG sales and account management career up to NAE/NAM level with respected food or drink brand-led companies, gaining experience with new product launches, promotions and pricing/terms negotiations and building effective relationships.
