THE ROLE
To further support this high growth business, the board are looking to further invest in the UK market with the appointment of an additional home-based National Account Manager to look after and grow their Discounters business. This exciting new role will take responsibility for directly managing a portfolio of high-profile accounts at head office level. You will shape brand-led trading proposals and build relationships towards developing each account, with a focus on new listings and promotional activities across the range of highly engaging, added-value and fast-selling products. Above all, the role is about connecting with the brand’s personality and going out each day to ‘SELL’ the brand and product proposition with authority, energy, enthusiasm and ambition to achieve your commercial objectives.
ABOUT YOU
Having gained experience in FMCG sales with food, drink or confectionery brands, you are now working at Junior NAM or Full NAM status managing either Discounters, Convenience Retail or Grocery Retail accounts at head office level. Being ambitious you are looking to progress your career in 2025 and are motivated about joining an exciting, high growth, very friendly and collaborative teamworking business. You have developed a sound understanding of modern account management activities, which should include new listings, CPI, promotional and terms negotiating, together with presenting and influencing consumer insight category-led, fact-based selling at head office level. You are seeking a career move into a more flexible working environment where you will have greater responsibility and the freedom to take commercial selling decisions and really go out and make things happen. Your sales results will be fully appreciated and recognised across the international commercial team and the wider business.
