We are seeking an experienced and results‑driven Solutions Manager to lead the technical sales of our vehicle restraint barriers and road safety products. The role will focus on driving revenue growth, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering innovative solutions across the highways, construction, and infrastructure sectors. This position also includes responsibility for growing sales of our temporary barrier product portfolio in the UK and developing export opportunities for our Brifen wire rope barrier.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships.
- Build strong partnerships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain technical knowledge of VRS products, specifications, and compliance standards.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximise profitability.
- Prepare sales forecasts and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in technical business development or sales within the construction, infrastructure, or road safety sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
- Confident using CRM systems.
- HND or Degree in Business (Civil Engineering qualification desirable).
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
