An opportunity has arisen at our Leicester office, for a Paralegal to join our Conveyancing team.

About Us:

We are a progressive and growing law firm based in the heart of the Midlands, renowned for our comprehensive legal services and exceptional client care. Our dedicated residential property team has years of experience in guiding individuals, couples and families through all aspects of a property transaction.

Role overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our conveyancing team. The ideal applicant will be able to work in an organised and efficient manner, have the ability to perform basic conveyancing administration tasks, be able to commission and interpret searches and assist with property enquiries. An understanding of the Land Registry portal system together with the ability to lodge SDLT applications in respect of leasehold and freehold transactions would be advantageous. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to advance their career in the legal field within a reputable firm.

What we are looking for:

  • A degree in Law or a relevant field (LPC qualification is desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar role, particularly within conveyancing would be advantageous.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with a focus on conveyancing legal issues (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and professionalism.
