Our Private Client team is about 20 strong and is evolving rapidly, working across the firm’s market‑leading areas to deliver joined‑up solutions. Embracing technology to work smarter and produce the best quality results, we are developing the team with like‑minded practitioners, offering a clear career path in specialist estate planning, our Wills & LPA team, or administering trusts and estates.

Role overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Solicitor / Associate (applications for Legal Executive roles are also welcome) to join our Private Client / Wills and Probate team at Leicester. The ideal applicant will manage instructions and draft Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, administer estates, use trusts to mitigate residential home fees and handle Inheritance Tax as part of estate administration. The role is ideal for proactive candidates looking to advance their career in a reputable firm.

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified lawyer with a current practising or CILEX certificate in England and Wales
  • Previous experience drafting Wills and LPAs
  • Previous experience of estates
  • 2–4 years PQE, ideally within Private Client
  • Understanding of asset‑preservation trusts and Wills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
