- Drive the development and execution of the evidence communication strategy for focus brands to align with the team's purpose of 'making evidence accessible to amplify its value' (30%)
- Collaborate with the commercial organisation, e.g., Sales and Marketing, Sales Training, Market Access, HEOR and other communication functions to ensure services/materials are aligned to company strategy and adopted widely across the organisation (30%)
- Be the company subject matter expert, applying expertise in communications techniques/channels to support business objectives. Measure impact (20%)
- Collaborate with GCMA, e.g., Global Clinical Strategy and Evidence Analysis, and Medical Education, to maximize value of evidence across the organisation (10%)
- Responsible for reviewing and editing evidence communications content, in a highly regulated environment (5%)
- Work to required internal and external standards to ensure all evidence communication materials are fair and balanced, high quality, consistent and meeting the needs of the business (all franchises) (5%)
Success in this role means being a strategic thinker and a skilled communicator who thrives in a regulated environment. You’ll bring:
- A degree or higher in a scientific or medical subject
- At least 5 years’ experience in medical or scientific communications, ideally within pharma or MedTech
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant commercial experience (Pharmaceutical and/or Med Device industry)
- Experience in editing/reviewing work in accordance with regulatory/legal/compliance regulations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Good understanding of scientific research processes and evidence-based medicine
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus a solid understanding of compliance and evidence-based medicine
- Strategic thinking and strong influencing skills
