We’re looking for a strategic and inspiring Surgical Area Business Manager to lead our high-performing sales team across the Home Counties, East Midlands, South Yorkshire and East Anglia regions.
You’ll be at the forefront of transforming surgical care through strategic partnerships and outcome-driven solutions.
We’re looking for someone with deep surgical expertise and a passion for driving system-wide change across acute surgical environments. You’ll bring strong executional and coaching skills, a growth and investment mindset, and a real sense of collaboration. Experience in hospital surgical settings and working within theatre environments will be key to your success.
What will you be doing?
You’ll lead a talented regional sales and clinical team, driving commercial success and building long-term partnerships with hospitals, specialists and key opinion leaders. Your role will be pivotal in delivering system change proposals and securing complex framework agreements. Working closely with our System Transformation Team and UKI Specialist teams, you’ll shape regional strategies, manage resources and coach your team to deliver exceptional results.
From capital investment decisions to quarterly business reviews, you’ll be the driving force behind regional growth and innovation. You’ll also take ownership of the regional pipeline, align with franchise strategy, and report monthly to the Sales Director. Your leadership will ensure accountability, performance and profitability across the region.
This is a field-based role with up to 80% national travel, due to the geographies of this patch you will be ideally located around Northampton, Cambridge, Watford or Luton area.

Success in this role means being a strategic thinker, a people leader and a commercial expert. You’ll need to:
- Bring a strong sales track record in surgical or operating room-based businesses, ideally in orthopaedics or endoscopy
- Demonstrate experience in first-line sales management and complex stakeholder negotiations
- Show commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Be committed to coaching and developing a high-performing team, with a growth mindset and collaborative approach
