We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Study Specialist / Study Nurse based in our Hull office. This role allows you to lead and conduct healthy volunteer study programs and related clinical activities for our wound products, supporting product registration, market access, claims, and providing regulatory, commercial, and product development support.
The studies involve applying and assessing wound dressings on volunteers, recording outcomes, and managing all relevant documentation. You will also lead planning, preparation, and reporting for these studies.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with nursing or medical experience, particularly in the application and use of wound products on healthy skin.
What will you be doing?
Create essential study documents such as protocols, consent forms, case report forms, ethics documentation, and detailed reports to ensure smooth study execution.
Conduct live phase studies by following protocols closely, ensuring accurate, consistent, and complete data collection.
Apply and assess prototypes on volunteers, performing thorough evaluations to ensure quality results.
Collaborate with partners including vendors, Contract Research Organizations, and ethics committees to secure approvals and execute studies successfully.
Train and support junior team members, helping them develop their skills and excel in their roles.
What will you need to be successful?
A solid foundation in nursing, medical, or scientific fields, with qualifications such as a Bachelor of Science or higher, is required. Strong communication, planning, and analytical skills are essential, along with an interest in creative problem-solving and risk management. Experience in nursing, medical education, or a relevant degree with multiple years of experience will set you up for success. Your drive, decision-making ability, and influence will be key to thriving in this role.
