At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. We're looking for someone who can develop and build meaningful and positive relationships with our customers to positively impact the lives of patients with complex non-healing wounds.

Working within an agreed set of partner NHS accounts, the Community Non-Healing Wound Specialist will provide dedicated day-to-day clinical support, training, pathway adoption and clinical change support for community nursing teams and clinics, with a focus on non-healing wounds.

An important part of the position will be to implement agreed clinical pathways for PICO appropriate Non-Healing wounds within the community setting; specifically with District Nurse teams, Wound & Leg Ulcer Clinics.

This position requires confidence and experience within the community nursing environment and familiarity with current clinical decision behaviours, objectives and challenges.

The role requires the Community Wound Specialist to provide 'consultative' clinical expertise, insights and support for our AWM Clinical and outcome strategy for PICO and Non-Healing Wounds. This role focuses on improving clinical outcomes for Community Non-Healing wounds and releasing local resource capacity.
