Smith Electrical Contractors are looking for an experienced electrician with NVQ level 3 and 18th edition to carry out day to day tasks on electrical projects. Jobs will vary and the applicant will need experience working alone in all below:
- New build installation
- Extensions
- Heating system wiring
- Fault finding
- Shop fitting
- EV charger installations (not essential)
- Solar PV installation (not essential)
- Testing
Smith Electrical Contractors take great pride in their work so the work completed must be up to a high standard and sites left in a clean state. Most work is located in and around Stamford in Lincolnshire, but you will sometimes be asked to travel up to an hour to complete the electrical projects, in which overtime will be paid for travel. You may also be asked to work away on a rare occasion, but accommodation and food allowance is always included. Rate of pay is also increased while working away.
We are looking for an electrician with experience in the domestic trade mainly and they must be confident in working on their own. Customer communication and teamwork with the existing employees are essential in this role.
