We are looking for an experienced and detail‑driven Quality Controller to join our night shift operation. This role goes beyond checking orders; it ensures all fruit and vegetable products meet strict quality standards before dispatch, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing:
- Checking and controlling the quality of all fruit and veg orders before dispatch
- Ensuring all products meet company and customer specifications
- Identifying and resolving quality issues, discrepancies, or damages
- Working closely with pickers, warehouse team and operations managers to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Supporting smooth flow of orders through the dispatch process
- Following company procedures and health & safety standards
- Maintaining high standards in a fast‑paced environment
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the fruit and veg catering or fresh produce industry
- Strong product knowledge is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy
- Ability to make confident quality decisions
- Good communication skills and a team‑focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced night shift environment
- Reliable, proactive, and quality‑focused approach to work
Working hours: 40–45 hours per week Night shift starting at 7:00 PM
